Thirty years ago Whisco Component Engineering Inc. was incorporated.  The company was founded by three former Motorola employees.  The concept was to design, develop and manufacture products for the communications market.

Comtelco was created as a division of Whisco Component Engineering Inc. to distribute products that were designed by the parent company.  This company eventually evolved into Comtelco Industries Inc.  Comtelco is a wholly owned subsidiary that sells products, throughout the world, that are manufactured in our plant in Glendale Heights, Illinois.

Our focus has always been on engineering superior products and manufacturing them for reliability and performance.  We believe our customers are the most important part of our business.  Their satisfaction is our highest goal.  A goal that is only attainable if we execute in our effort to be their best supplier.  We encourage input from our customers and value their opinions on how we can do the best job for them.
